President & Co-Founder
John's career has been a continuation of being a problem solver and innovative individual contributor across industries in the domain of managing change. A Purdue Industrial Management graduate, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified SAS Professional, he brought decades of pharmaceutical statistical programming and consulting experience to the founding of MHPC.
In his post-retirement years, John co-founded Urban Patch LLC with Joyce, dedicating himself to civic engagement, affordable housing, and food access. He initiated Moore Heritage Projects Corporation in January 2021 and has served on multiple advisory boards while remaining active in genealogy, market growing, and community development.

Vice President & Co-Founder
Joyce is a Purdue-certified Master Food Preserver and Master Gardener whose career spans technology coordination, real estate, nutrition education, and community development. She served for a decade as Technology Coordinator at Broad Ripple High School, managing 600+ computers, before co-founding Urban Patch LLC and MHPC.
Her career highlight includes designing and directing the Computer Learning Center at a government-funded inner-city program — training volunteers and helping residents enter the workforce. She is a licensed Indiana Real Estate Broker and holds multiple Purdue Extension certifications in sustainable leadership and food preservation.

Crystal Y. Wilmot
Board Member
An experienced nonprofit professional and Army Veteran (Operation Iraqi Freedom), Crystal's career spans Conner Prairie Museum, Gleaners Food Bank, and Lutheran Child & Family Services. B.A. from Cal State Fullerton, Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Fundraising Executive (pending). Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and AFP.
Rosalynn Shropshire-West
Board Member
A lifelong Indianapolis resident and Crispus Attucks alumna, Rosalynn holds a B.A. in U.S. History (IUI, with distinction) and an Honorary Doctorate. Published author of Black Vignettes: Essays in African American History & Culture. Former NCNW Section President, 10-year board member of Community Action of Greater Indianapolis.
Cora Y. Tucker, R.N.
Board Member
A registered nurse and Crispus Attucks alumna, Cora served in the United States Air Force before earning her nursing degree from Boise State University. She currently serves as Director of Nursing at Larris-IFY Home Care, LLC, bringing clinical expertise and deep Indianapolis roots to the MHPC board.
Barry Brolley
Board Member
Lead Statistical Programmer Analyst with 23+ years in pharmaceutical research (Navitas Life Sciences, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Merck). M.S. Statistics (U. of Kentucky), B.S. Mathematics (Marymount College). Published researcher in clinical trial methodology across neuroscience, oncology, and diabetes.
JaKobi Burton
Board Member
Born and raised in Indianapolis, JaKobi holds a B.A. in Industrial & Mechanical Technology (Indiana State) and is pursuing an M.S. in Instructional Systems Technology at IU Bloomington. Joined MHPC in January 2023; also serves as Assistant Treasurer of the Indiana African American Genealogy Group.
